Our Results

Excellent results at every stage.

We take immense pride in the achievements and success of our pupils, both in the classroom and in their later exams.

Our results are consistently well above the national average at every school stage, with pupils achieving exceptional 11+ results and securing places in the most prestigious senior schools in London and beyond.

The Early Years Foundation Stage

Throughout the Early Years, we maintain a continuous assessment process to monitor your child's progress. In the final term of Reception, we complete the official Early Years Foundation Stage Profile for each child.

The Early Years Foundation Stage Profile serves as a measure of your child's attainment across various learning areas, aligning with the Early Learning Goals (ELGs). The focus is on key areas that are essential for inspiring children's sense of curiosity, enthusiasm for learning, and their ability to build successful, positive relationships.

To achieve a Good Level of Development (GLD), children must meet the ELGs in the following key areas: Personal, social and emotional development, language and communication, physical development, literacy, and mathematics.

In the academic year 2022/2023, an outstanding 96.15% of children at Charterhouse Square School achieved a Good Level of Development (GLD), significantly exceeding the national average of 69.2%. Furthermore, an impressive 25% of our children exceeded the GLD, demonstrating excellence across all 17 Early Learning Goals (ELGs).

Progress Test in Maths and English

Our pupils’ academic progress is carefully monitored through annual National Standardised tests in English and Mathematics. The Progress Test in English (PTE) assesses pupils' technical English skills, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and reading comprehension. The Progress Test in Maths (PTM) monitors their mathematical skills and knowledge in areas such as number, shape, data handling, and algebra, as well as their mathematical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.

The results presented below show age-standardised scores, with the red dashed line indicating the national average of 100. Notably, our pupils have consistently achieved scores significantly above the national average.
