Letter to Parents

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for entering into the spirit of world book day with all your efforts with the children’s costumes, they looked fantastic!

As part of our celebrations of World Book Day, we are launching a competition for the most original location to be caught reading. The teachers have already set the ball rolling by bringing in photos of themselves reading in a range of locations (if you pop into school, you can see photos of them enjoying reading dotted around the building).

It is not a compulsory activity and just a bit of fun to encourage the children to think about sharing their love of reading. If your child is keen to take part, we ask that you take a photograph of them reading somewhere interesting/unlikely or whilst undertaking an activity and send it in to school in their homework folders by Friday 11th March.

We look forward to seeing your photographs!

Many thanks,

Julia and Julia (World Book Day Organisers)
