Letter to Parents

Dear Parents,

I hope that you have had a wonderful summer and managed some rest and relaxation. Speaking with the children today it certainly sounds as if everyone has had a lovely holiday.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all those that are joining the Charterhouse Square School community and I hope that you find it a very happy one.

I fear that I am writing to let you know that we are still in negotiations with the Charterhouse with regards to a return to the Square. We should have a clearer picture following their Governor’s meeting this month and I will of course let you know as soon as I have any more information. Consequently, at this point in time we will continue to visit Master’s Garden, Fortune Street Park and Quaker Court for outdoor play sessions. As many children are experiencing different timetables in a new academic year I thought it might be helpful to summarise activity/outdoor sessions for each year group below:-

Green Room: – Master’s Garden Monday and Thursday.
Red Room:- Fortune Street Park Monday, Master’s Garden Tuesday, PE Thursday, Fortune Street Park Friday.
Yellow Room:- Master’s Garden Monday, PE Tuesday, swimming Wednesday,PE Thursday, Fortune Street Park and aerobics Friday.
Blue Room:- swimming and Quaker Court Monday, PE Tuesday, Coram’s Fields Wednesday, Quaker Court Thursday, aerobics Friday.

Kite Rom:- Quaker Court and tennis Monday, swimming Tuesday, Coram’s Fields Wednesday, Quaker Court Thursday, PE Friday.

As always if you have any queries, please feel free to talk with me, or indeed Julia Maxwell in her new role as Deputy Head – our door is always open. In any case I look forward to seeing many of you at the Curriculum Evenings.

With very best wishes for the new academic year,
